STUDENTS BEHAVIOR IN SCHOOL

Behavior is a way in which a person acts or reacts in response to environmental stimuli. In respect to the students, their behavior embodies many aspects other than their way of talking. The behavior of a student can be seen during his interactions with fellow students and teachers. Often, bad behavior of students gets in the way of learning as it affects their equation with their classmates or teachers. Thus, they fail to create an ideal environment for learning. On the contrary, a student having good behavior perceives everything in a positive way and tends to grasp everything faster than the rest of the students.

The following are some of the qualities which a Students Behavior in School must possess in order to have good behavior at school.

OBEDIENCE- This is one of the qualities which complement a student’s behavior. If a student is obedient, he is successful. The teachers will be highly impressed by such students who follow instructions. This quality will also help individuals in their career as most of the employers look for the candidate who can follow their instructions effectively.

ATTENTIVENESS - If a student is paying attention in the classroom while something is being taught, it will be easier for him to understand. While a student who is not paying attention in class or who is busy with his own thoughts will suffer a great loss in his studies.

POLITENESS - The way a student interacts with classmates and teachers reflects his behavior. If students are polite to each other, there will be fewer arguments in the class, which will lead to ideal environment for learning. Even if students disagree with each other, they should try to present their thoughts without getting rude to anyone. This behavior will also help them in future as it is easier for a polite person to work in a group or a team.

HELPFULNESS - A person who is helpful is appreciated by everyone. So, students must develop this quality of helping each other. It helps in nurturing team spirit among them.

PUNCTUALITY - A student must value time and always be punctual. He must come to school regularly and on time. He must do his homework, project work, assignments, etc., on time to avoid last-minute rush. His work should be systematic. All these traits will help him in the future as every employer looks for efficient and punctual candidates.

INTERACTIVENESS - A student must know how to interact with his fellow classmates. He should have a friendly nature. A student who doesn't interact with anyone may develop as a rude personality and eventually get ignored by everyone else. Having a cordial relationship with everyone in school leads to an ideal environment for studies.

So, these were some of the requisite qualities that can enhance the behavior of students in a school. The students’ behavior in school can be seen during his interactions with fellow students and teachers. These qualities are not just helpful in school life, but these will prove utilitarian to the students in their entire journey of life.
